How Long Does The Invisalign Treatment Take For Teens?
We can provide you with the estimated treatment duration during your visit to our office. The typical treatment duration ranges from 6 to 18 months, though teens with more complex alignment issues may take longer. The exact treatment time with Invisalign Teen may vary based on the frequency of aligner change.
Since teens are supposed to wear the aligners for 20-22 hours a day, excessive removal can prolong treatment time. Committing to and properly caring for their aligners is key to having a successful experience with Invisalign for teens.
NOTE: Invisalign® Teen is designed specifically for adolescents, including those who may still have some baby (deciduous) teeth. The treatment adapts to growing mouths and can be customized based on each child’s dental development.
